Deadline has officially announced New York, New York will arrive on Broadway in March 2023. Reuniting John Kander and Susan Stroman (The Scottsboro Boys, Steel Pier, The Beast in the Jungle, And the World Goes ‘Round, Flora and the Red Menace), Lin-Manuel Miranda will write additional lyrics for brand-new Kander tunes. With a plot loosely based on Martin Scorsese's film, David Thompson and Sharon Washington will co-write the book.
