Deadline officially announced that the acclaimed UK revival production of Crazy for You will transfer to the West End. Previews begin on June 24, 2023. Opening Night is Monday, July 3, 2023 for a strictly limited 30-week run at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Gillian Lynne Theatre.
Beyond updated direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, the West End Revival of Crazy for You also features an updated book by Ken Ludwig alongside the iconic Gershwin numbers “I Got Rhythm, “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Embraceable You,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” and “Nice Work if You Can Get It.”
Starring Charlie Stemp, Carly Anderson and Tom Edden (who played to packed houses during an 8-week summer run at Chichester Theatre Festival), the creative team includes set design by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Ken Billington, musical direction by Alan Williams and sound by Kai Harada.
