From Wilmington to Broadway, Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman is nurturing the next generation of playwrights. Through the Susan Stroman Playwright Fellowship at the University of Delaware, aspiring writers get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the world of theater. The fellowship culminates in May 2025 with the UD New Play Festival featuring staged readings of the fellows' original works.
